Our product for smaller satellites
With a mass below 5 kg and a volume of 3U, GMM is a propellant-less propulsion device for small satellites.
Using the power provided by the host satellite, and thanks to its short spinning electrodynamic tether and an expellant-less cathode, GMM provides a propulsion force for deorbiting and reboost the satellite.
It has collision avoidance and tether reel-in and reel-out capacities. Since 2024, and in collaboration with other partners, PERSEI is working on the development of the critical technologies of GMM in the framework of the EIC-funded E.T.COMPACT project.
- Application: Deorbit & Reboost
